Holiday Tip #7 For A Rejuvenating Time

December 30, 2018

Today is one of my favourite tips because it includes two of my favourite things: planning and travel!

The cold, snowy winter is the best time to dream about your summer vacations. I love snow and cold temperatures, we proudly chose to become Canadians, and really enjoy the winter time. But sometimes, it’s also rejuvenating to dream for a while about warm weather because let’s say it: cold is exhausting too.

So, why not plan a dream trip? Whether far or close, there’s certainly a place that’s worth your attention and will create some good memories for your loved ones.

Plan a summer trip with your loved ones

At the very least, nobody says you will actually take action. You can simply make a game of it. It can be a challenge, create your personal dream trip. Each one can participate, and if your dream trip is not even a real place, why not. Use a mapĀ or draw your own routes, take notes, have your children involved of course. They certainly are the ones that will surprise you most with their imagination.

In a book I read about simplicity, the writer was telling about the benefits of having few emergency weekends or vacation escapes ready, just in case. The case is when you already are too exhausted to plan something, but you absolutely need it.

Who knows?

Yes, who knows what may happen? Maybe this dream will come true. Maybe while planning it you will realize that it’s not so far away or not so extravagant, maybe you will see the unthinkable become doable.

Try Viator to find ideas or Trip Advisor. But don’t forget that imagination and creativity are all part of the game. I don’t want you to book a group tour. The purpose is to have fun together.
