Holiday Tip #3 For A Rejuvenating Time

December 26, 2018

Today is my third tip for a fun time together:

Meet with your loved ones, treat your family like friends

Whoever your loved ones are, friends partner, husband, children, date them for a coffee outside.

Quality time instead of things

The other day I was enjoying a very conversation with a friend. She is always enthusiastic and confident, with a warming smiling face. In a few seconds, she became so upset when explaining to me that she never understood why her sister could not find a little time to have tea or lunch with her once in a while. They live 30 min apart; she was willing to make the trip to her place. She was confused about the fact that her sister had enough time to buy beautiful presents for her children and send the parcel to her, but not to meet 30 min in a cafe with her.

People think it’s more simple to use a credit card and wait in line while scrolling on their phone and pay for something. No wonder why: they have enough on their plate already. It is much more difficult to have a meaningful chat with someone close, especially if we did not see them in a long time. However, people will remember this lovely time they had with you more than another stationary or toy.

All I want for Christmas is you

Think about the people you are treating by sending great presents. Give them a little bit of your time.
